Fishing on the Guadalupe River



Relax in the great outdoors by Fishing on the Guadalupe River! Our campground offers one half mile of scenic and well landscaped river front property; perfect for fishing! Enjoy the day fishing just steps from your campsite or find a quiet place under the shade of the Giant Cypress Trees.
Looking for a more adventurous fishing trip? Launch your Kayak or Canoe from your campsite to discover scenic bluff views and the sights/sounds of nature! Paddle upstream, above the Stair Step Rapids (1/2 mile), to find your own secluded "secret" fishing hole. Paddle downstream, towards the first cossing bridge (3/4 mile), for deep water fishing holes and breathtaking views.
*Notice: We do not provide shuttle transportation. When paddling beyond our campground, please be prepared to paddle back to your campsite. Shuttle transportation may be offered by River Outfitters at the 1st-Xing for a fee. Contact our office for details.

*All Land along the river bank is Private Property! No Tresspassing! Please refrain from exiting the river without proper permits, wristbands, or permission from land owners. Fishing is permitted across the river, but please remain in the water. The land across the river from our campground is Private and not affiliated with KL - On The River!
*Boats with Motors; caution is advised ! Shallow depths occur throughout the river. Boats with motors are not recommended.
